Scripta Classica Israelica (SCI)

Scripta Classica Israelica (SCI) is the annual peer-reviewed journal of the Israel Society for the Promotion of Classical Studies. From its inception in 1974, Scripta Classica Israelica has been devoted to the study of Classics and Ancient History, including the Jewish world in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It welcomes articles in English, French, German or Italian on all aspects of the classical world. Submissions are refereed by anonymous readers. The journal is open access, please see the Index.

Conferences

ISPCS holds annual conferences, where scholars from Israel and from abroad present their research. The conferences are held each year in a different Israeli university.

The upcoming annual conference of the ISPCS will be held on June 3-4, 2026, at the University of Haifa.
